We are looking at another anime game with decent mobile gaming going on now. It's respectable.

Today, we are looking at an updated mobile game called DanMachi BATTLE CHRONICLE.

My Experience:

You have seen DanMachi - MEMORIA FREESE, a somewhat popular game among anime series fans. In that case, this one is abit of an upgrade from the 2D animation and reliving the series of "Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?"

This one plays abit differently, allowing you to move around the area instead of a flat playing field—moving your characters around, countering, and breaking the enemy's shields!

Multiple combinations of characters in groups to make devastating attacks, even attacks you remember from the show, are very well animated.

Just like from the last game, you get to gain two sets of characters: One for the attack and the other for the assist to help give you resistance during your battles with the monsters throughout the Dungeon.

Sadly, this game has abit of a downside, especially the controls and the combat.

It feels abit clunky, slow, responsive, and very much around using the characters' special abilities.

Pros and Cons of DanMachi BATTLE CHRONICLE

It is suitable for the fans who love the anime and newcomers to the series.

A much-needed Update!

Cons:

Controls are either slow-responsive or barely responsive.

Gameplay feels clunky

Should have added an auto-lock feature

Verdict:

The story is very well told in DanMachi BATTLE CHRONICLE, with alot of updates, well-animated characters, and music. I wish they would have updated the gameplay and controls.

DanMachi BATTLE CHRONICLE gets a rating of recommended.

If you are a fan of the series or new to it, it is better to play this one than the other one.
