Honestly, pretty good.
I'm surprised how better this game is than its predecessor, Genshin Impact. This game feels a lot more genuine and your actions have actual repercussions (at least you feel like they do).
One of the recent examples is... There's a character specific quest with Kafka (when you unlock the 2nd planet and play through the entire campaign, that's honestly not too long), you can REFUSE to help her do whatever she asks you, i don't know, because i refused to help Makima in the Honkai universe. I got my rewards, but did absolutely nothing, because i was clicking the negative options in the dialogue screens.
You can also talk to literally every trash can, empty delivery box, street light, or whatever gimmicky item in the world you can find, and the interactions are super hilarious too!
Now, the gameplay. You can run around enclosed but connected areas, fight enemies in a simplified JRPG type battle mode (main attack, secondary attack and an special attack). All vary based on the characters' types and elements, some heal, some make your allies stronger, some weaken the enemy, some deal big damage to one enemy, some deal damage to multiple enemies at once. The system is pretty straightforward, plus there's auto combat and 2x speed (if you want to farm materials and artifacts)
Finally, the visual style and music. Yes, it does feel like this game has A.I. generated character designs and it does have pretty bland world design. Yet it's NOT a soulless clone of someone else's hard work, like Genshin was. And unlike Genshin (yet again), this game does have some decent tunes!
Overall, this game is a BIG improvement over Hoyoverse's previous games (and as I've heard, it's developed by a different studio than Genshin) and is a decent experience for once. Solid 7.5/10 (yes there were some parts of the game i didn't like, for example lack of full campaign and bland designs of certain things, but this is a good game i swear)
