Disney has done pretty well with this release in my opinion, the game feels solid, and I actually don't mind it. A grown up kart racing experience, with a Disney dash of nostalgic love and joy.
Voices! This is always a big key for me with Disney game drops. Without their voices, it always feels like they've lost their soul, so I'm very happy they used original voices!
Additionally the graphics, and smoothness of gameplay was really unexpected. With a PS5 controller connected to my phone this felt like I was playing on a PS5, it even lets you use the mouse touchpad on the controller!
Very fun, as soon as you rip the package off, I do want it to maybe be a little bit faster, but at the same time, speeding things up could eliminate a lot to appreciate while you race all the different Disney themed tracks!
They've designed beautiful themed race tracks for so many Disney characters, and I'm sure this is only the beginning. Additionally, the game doesn't leave your phone feeling too hot, or that it's over-performing where a lot of newer game titles have been really left unoptimized in this area.
Solid game, and I hope you'll try it out!
Not everyone likes new spins in things, but I enjoy karting games, and there's a seriously lacking industry for it, so I welcome another racer with extremely fun elements always these days.
A gacha system, but also a F2P system allows proper enjoyment of the game quite well.
So long as they keep these elements in the game the same upon release, it has my vote as a very nice game for mobile karting.
