SHOULD I PLAY THE TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE? Play it. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is an asymmetrical horror game that’s based on the popular 1974 film of the same name. While it suffers from a few technical and balance issues, it’s still a lot of fun. For someone like me who’s played hundreds of hours of Dead by Daylight, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre’s extremely gory take on the genre definitely satisfies any bloodlust that wasn’t already taken care of.

I recently tried out the new asymmetrical third person multiplayer horror game The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and yeah, for the most part I had fun. There isn't too much of a story in this game, you are given a bit of a narrative at the beginning of the game, and you can play as either the family of killers or the unfortunate victims. If you play as the victims, you will start off beaten and tortured, and in an all round poor shape, and if you're playing as the family, it's your job to try and kill the victims before they can escape. And that's pretty much it for the story of the game. Gameplay wise you can choose to either play as the family or s the victims, or you can choose to opt in for both and play a quick match. Quick Matches are probably the best option, or at least it felt that way for me, because when I tried to queue to just play as a family member, the overall wait was really long to match up.
