PC game on the MOBILE? Assassin's Creed Mirage // 30 SEC REVIEW

Assassin's Creed Mirage is a "coming-of-age story," for Basim starts as a street thief and grows into a Hidden One under the guidance of his mentor, Roshan. True to the series' tradition, the game features historical figures from the 9th-century Baghdad. The game does away with mythologies and magic, and features a more grounded tone this time around. The story is now much shorted this time, around just 1/4 of the length of the previous game.

Assassin's Creed Mirage promises to be a refreshing return to the franchise's roots. Set against the historical backdrop of Baghdad, the game takes us back to the early years of the series, emphasizing parkour, stealth, and the art of assassination—a style reminiscent of the beloved Altair and Ezio eras. It's a deliberate shift away from the sprawling open-world RPGs and health sponges of enemies that have become the norm in recent Assassin's Creed titles.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will launch on June 6 for iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPad Air and iPad Pro devices with an M1 chip or later. Available from the App Store, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a complete version of the game that was first released on consoles and PC in October 2023, and is the first console Assassin’s Creed game to be fully ported to mobile devices. Telling the story of Basim, a young street thief recruited by the Hidden Ones to eventually grow into a Master Assassin, Assassin’s Creed Mirage features cross-progression and cross-save, enabling players to switch between the mobile, console, or PC versions while keeping their progress. The mobile version also features touchscreen controls created to be comfortable and intuitive on iPhone and iPad, while also supporting external controllers.
