Although its a geo-location game, it doesn't force you to go out around the neighborhood all the time since monsters spawn on your location in a few minute intervals. But the leveling up will be slow if you do this since you just have to "wait". 😅
What's annoying in this game?
It's the limited gameplay when you're inside a fast moving vehicle. In some geo-location games, I enjoy travelling by bus while playing the game BUT here in MHNow, I am forced to actually put the game down while I'm inside a vehicle... And No, I am not the driver. I find it so disappointing that I can't collect resources while riding, all those iron ores.... 😫 left untouched.... haayy..
Suggestion:
Please add some sort of lure item so we can attract monsters without having to move all the time. Kind of similar to some geo games.
Please remove the movement restriction. It's a turn off to those who want to play while being a passenger in a vehicle.

I LOVE that I can play this with just one hand. It's not perfect but it's already fun as it is. You just swipe your character to dodge and tap/hold finger on the monster to attack. However, I feel there's something missing... maybe more skills perhaps?
Skills/Actions: 3/5
The skills are limited to the type of equipment you have. So to get thay perfect skill you want, you have to craft that specific armor... and grind for it. Well, it's not that bad, just that you will have to be lucky enough to encounter that specific monster often if you plan to grind it.
Multiplayer: 3/5
Heavily relies on stable internet. There have been many times where we couldn't see other players because of slow mobile net. Slightly annoying but playable anyways. However, some monsters do need some teamplay when you're high level.
Item Shop: 3/5
Very limited items for now. And hell bent expensive.. well for me. The cheapest one is not that tad useful but only for those impatient players. Those who aim to be the top hunter will for sure, buy these things, to grind faster and level up faster. But for now, players can just survive without buying.... just need some patience... lol 😆
Overall, it's a good game. Not for impatient ones. But for those who just want to chill in their couch, and hunt some monsters every now and then, like me.. well you may enjoy this game without the need to rush.

A few flaws but still a great game.
After playing it since its release, it's time for a review. At first, the game didn't leave a good impression because we started stuck with a Sword and Shield at the beginning until we hit HR 15 (Our level), and the rest at Chapter 2 completion. Luckily, I ended up using the sword and shield as my main.
📖 Storyline: The story is a basic visual novel style. It's decent but not enough to keep players invested too much in it.

Solo Leveling: ARISE
🎨 Graphics: For mobile devices, quite impressive. The shading quality, characters quality, field details, light effects, lighting quality, texture quality, post-processing effects, and effect quality on top. The animations also stunning! Overall graphics 9/10.
🎵 Sound: My first time playing, I downloaded the Japanese dub, waiting for it to finish downloading patch files, then I started the game. The background music, sound effects, hit and hurt sounds, effort sounds, and characters voice also on top. Overall sounds 8/10.

Oh boy I do love when I'm wrong about games. I'm gonna be honest, I thought this would be another cheap game, but daaaaamn.
The controls' layout it's a bit tricky (as far as I played I can't change it but gonna update this if I find out that I can) but not a problem to enjoy the game. I mean depends on you. To shoot can be annoying, but I'm not gonna stop playing just because of that. Also the animation while using a melee weapon it's fucking gorgeous. It looks so smooth.
