The game was and still is fun, I realized one thing after spending 13 hours hours in the game in just 3 days

The game was built for casuals

But under the limited combos I realize it depends on how you approach your enemies, each attack for each characters are for different situations, which means you can have fun fighting enemies, but one major flaw is the game getting grindy, which may become boring again, but the game play still makes it fun, especially when dodging bosses .

the game isn't complex in terms of combat which may lead to repetitive combos for some people if you don't understand the skills of each character, except if your using a SS characters, (trust me early game might get boring but you may obtain a good character.....you may )

but your luck of getting one is -4, you will be stuck with the starter characters as your mains, because most average characters you get are nothing but support characters, which means the game starts to get boring......I didn't think the gacha was this bad

and the gacha pull is nothing but rng hell, after rolling for characters you will get nothing but support characters, which is not that useful..................it was until I got the character I kinda wanted, if not I would have uninstalled the game

I would have been playing snow break containment but my phone couldn't handle it without over heating 🥲🥲, ( trust me snow break is much more of a real game, plus they give you a busted character early game, which can mess up enemies )even on the lowest graphics the game lags sometimes which forced me to play aether gazer instead

The graphics of aether gazer are really good and story can get silly at times but it has some interesting and funny characters, don't take the story too serious even though it can get kinda dark, the funny and over confident characters shine more than the story s plot

I rated this game 3/5 because getting good characters is an actual struggle, the gacha system is that bad, I could have been playing snow break 💔 but here I am playing aether gazer

After a year the game has become better, devs added a lot of QoL changes and the game has become less laggy, although this game is originally idle, you can get stuck in it for hours, for example, passing battlefront or gate stages, improving results in guild raids, arena, etc. Not to mention passing "bond" stories with almost all souls. In my opinion, the world has a rather interesting lore, which opens gradually through the main storyline, Tower of origin or the same bond stories in the style of visual novels

Still fairly early in the game but so far it's pretty fun. Combat feels good and interactive. The art is fantastic and new weapons and armor are visible on characters when equipped which is always nice. My only worry is that the gacha mechanics will eventually hit a wall. It hasn't yet but there are a lot of purchases available which worries me that eventually those will become necessary to progress. If this were a one time paid game it would be perfect but it's a gacha so I will remain skeptical about it. It's worth trying though from what I've played so far.

Been playing since the release and all I can say is that the game really exceeded my expectation. The overall aesthetic of the game is top tier, the characters design (the choices of VAs perfectly match each character's personality), unique gameplay(different from punishing and honkai impact which is great and I like it), the story of the game and the event stories are also great, game rewards( events, daily rewards, weekly rewards are perfectly fine), the gacha system of the game is good, and the game developers are doing their best to make make the players satisfied every patch( they are actually listening to the community and its a great thing tbh). Overall, the game is a must try, it offers a lot of content, and the game is free to play friendly.
