A Japanese attorney representing Bandai Namco filed a trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on September 26.
This is the only Dragon Ball Z-related news we've had since the announcement of the new Budokai Tenkaichi installment back in March. In Japan, this series is known as the "Dragon Ball Z: Sparking!" series.
The new trademark filing may have given us an early glimpse of the upcoming Budokai Tenkaichi title's name and hints that more "Sparking!" games could be in development. Alternatively, it might just suggest that the Japanese edition will continue to use the "Sparking!" name – at this point, it's challenging to say.
The upcoming Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi game will be the fourth Western title in the fighting game series based on the popular anime, following Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, which was released back in 2007 for the PS2 and Wii - a whole 16 years ago.
it's shonen jump+MOBA it has to be amazing, can't be anything less.
