It should be noted that technology research does not consume points, but occupies points. Each time a technology is developed, it needs to occupy the corresponding points of technology.
For example, if you currently have 10 technology points and have used 8 points for research, if all your government offices are demolished or the cities they belong to are occupied, then the available technology points will become -8. If you want to continue climbing the technology line, you need to rebuild and upgrade government offices or seize cities with government offices to make up for the missing technology points. However, even if the available technology points are negative, the technologies that have been developed will continue to take effect.

- Ridge Farming Law: Each level of rural area increases an additional 100 grain output.
- Combat Skills : Troops gain an additional point of rage each time they attack.
- Stacking Casting Law : Each level of market increases an additional 100 copper coin output.
- Self-repair : Building durability automatic recovery speed increased by 100%.
- Efficient Recruitment : Recruitment copper coin consumption reduced by 25%.
- Standardized Transportation : All troops’ grain consumption reduced by 25%.
- Improved Craftsmanship : Building construction and upgrade time halved.
- Standing Army System : Reserve limit increased by 10000. Private School System : All government offices provide an additional point of technology point.
In the end game of war, besides competing for resources, the most important thing is to compete for the development of technology. Whether it is the choice of technology development priority in the early stage or the competition of technology development speed in the middle and late stages, it will directly affect the final trend of this game. The reason why you lost this round may be that your opponent developed a key technology a year earlier than you.
In addition to the current four technology systems, future versions also plan a fifth technology line [City Building System]. By developing city building technology, you can transform cities to enhance city durability and offensive and defensive capabilities, and even change the skill effects of city defense. Stronghold defense may be another playable mode in subsequent versions.
