Tower Defense and roguelite features is a beautiful blend and Today, I'm going to be playing Endless Dungeon, a roguelite dungeon crawler from Amplitude Studios and published by SEGA. In Endless Dungeon, you control a group of four heroes as they explore a procedurally generated dungeon, fighting off enemies and collecting resources in order to survive.
Endless Dungeon has many mechanics and offer a quite engaging tower defense isometric escort Roguelite. Immediately in between levels you can play as one of the 3 main available heroes and there’s a max of up to 8 heroes. Each of these heroes has 2 different sets of abilities to help them fight the horde of monsters.
The game is primarily load into Every Zone escort the crystal in which if destroyed that’s game over and help escort it to its next location while using the tower defense mechanics in which you can bolster up your defenses a bit to help you protect the core at all costs during enemy wave pushes. Speaking of enemy waves, There are 2 ways to trigger a wave, Through opening up doors which cause your alert levels to go up, Doing Research on the research generator but hopefully during that time itll make your life easier to set up defenses on your travels.
During Your travels through each room youll find areas to place Generators which allows you to use 3 different forms of resources which one is food which helps heal your party, The Cog wheel is overall building resources and the science one helps bring bigger projects into the world. The combat is more similar to a lot of ARPG like Diablo 4 or Last Epoch and Path Of Exile.
With each wave you come across the difficulty gets a bit tougher so being well prepped and ready to defend is your base case for survival. There is a main hub area which lets players hangout with the rest of the cast and check out vendors.
With Endless floors, Constant waves pushing at you in all directions Endless Dungeon is an intense and fun tower defense roguelike with many great features to keep you entertained for hours on end. Its definitely has gotten more difficult to keep with each wave but its definitely fun and addiciting!
