Dear Mercenaries: Arena Breakout is getting an S2 version update on Oct. 27, with a new Port map, new weapons, new gameplay, and more! Come and join the fun! We have answered some frequently asked questions below, to help you complete the version update smoothly.

Q1: How long will the server be offline for the update on Oct. 27th?

A1: Matchmaking will stop on Oct. 26 at 23:00 (UTC+0), and the server is scheduled to be offline on Oct. 27 from 00:00 until 11:00 (UTC+0). Server re-opening may be earlier or later than planned, and the actual time will be broadcast via official announcements.

Q2: Will I need to change installation packages for this update?

A2: Yes. Once the update is complete, a new client version will be released, and the old version will no longer be compatible. You'll need to complete the update in order to continue playing. Players can visit the Google or Apple stores in their region to download the latest version. Due to Apple launch delays, the iOS version may be available earlier or later than scheduled. Keep an eye on the store for an exact release time.

Q3: What rewards will I get for completing the update?

A3: After the New Season Login Gift event starts, complete the update from Oct. 27 – Nov. 2 and log in to claim 60 coins from Events.

Q4: How big is this update? How much space do I need on my device?

A4:Android: The installer is 1.68 GB. Players can also choose to download the HD resource pack if they want to, either at first startup or via the Download Center in Settings. The different resource packs are:Standard Resource Pack (default), 559 MB: Smooth graphics quality; less storage space required.HD Resource Pack, 1.48 GB: Higher-resolution graphics; recommended if you have sufficient storage.In-game map resources are about 1.12 GB. iOS: The installer is 2.84 GB. The startup download is about 383 MB, and in-game map resources are about 1.18 GB. We recommended you reserve at least 5 GB of memory. The above sizes are for reference only. Please check the actual downloads for accurate figures.

Q5: Will the iOS and Android servers re-open at the same time?

A5: Ideally yes, but due to delays in Apple store launches, iOS players might enter the game slightly later than Android players. Delays in Apple's verification process could also mean that both Android and iOS server re-openings are delayed. Keep an eye on the store for an exact release time.

Q6: Why does it say that the installer is not compatible with my device/CPU after downloading?

A6: Some lower-spec models are not compatible with the latest version. Examples: Android 5.1 and below; OpenGL below 3.1; 2 GB of RAM or less; devices with 32-bit CPUs. The following devices are also not compatible: Redmi Note 4, Samsung Galaxy J7+, and Huawei M3. Try switching devices, or try downloading the lite version from the official website (https://arenabreakout.com/). Q7: After completing the update, the game lags and my device overheats. How can I make it run smoother?

A7:1. Try closing all background processes, restarting the game, and restarting your mobile phone.2. Check whether your device has sufficient battery and whether low-power mode is turned on. Some devices can experience lags or reduced frame rates when they have low battery or while being charged.3. Check that your signal is good, or try switching network operators.4. Reduce graphics quality or frame rate as appropriate.
