Games worth discovering
MECHA ATTACK ANNOUNCEMENT - PLEASE READ!

I am Sam, the lead (and currently the only) developer of MECHA ATTACK!
I wanted to make a post to clarify something that i see being misunderstood by some followers of the game.
The game is in the pre production stage of the development as we look for a publisher. This is the earliest stage of development. I decided to show off the game to you all early on so I can get feedback and you can share your ideas with me.
But the issue I've now come across is people making assumptions that an open world rpg like this should be out already somehow? (Made in a few weeks somehow?)
To Clarify; Games of this scale take 3-5 years on average to make with a large studio with funding behind it. (This isn't a fan game or a small passion project like you have seen me release in the past, this game is 100x larger in scale and scope)
I'm currently just myself alone, there will be expanding and funding in the future towards the game but currently it is just me working on the game every weekday for 9 hours a day.
I've posted videos on here, on discord and on tiktok showcasing the games progress.
I've had a few users accuse me of abandoning the game simply because it's not out yet when games of this scale are not made that fast. Its disheartening to see people attacking/slandering me because they want to play the game sooner but I ask you please be respectful.
The games bio has also always stated the game is in pre production.
I please ask that you all be patient with me, I opened the taptap page early on to build a community and let you share ideas/feedback.
I will continue to keep you up to date, currently the game isn't coming out for at least 1-2 years minimum. But the cool thing is that you as a community will get to see the whole process and give your input.

Hello everyone! Its me Sam (Swammy) coming to you with an update on the production/development of MECHA ATTACK!
It has been a while since the last Development Log as I have been hard at work on the game and also been in talks with multiple publishers as we are still in a pre-production phase of development (although most of you know this already). This dev-log is more of an update on what has been happening and less of a showcase on development itself as a lot of the stuff you see in pre-production will change during full production (less placeholders used etc). As I continue to post more dev-logs in the future I will remain fully transparent and be doing my best to respond to your comments/questions/ideas! Yes, we are a team of 5 creating the game, its an ambitious title and we are currently aiming to get investors/publishers on board (already in talks), with funding we would be able to build a better experience long term and grow the team! This would not affect the games core design nor would we lose creative control. A lot of amazing things are in the works and we couldn't have done it without all of your support!

While there's no release date set, this game is looking like it'll be THE game for me to play on a daily basis. Just please don't be greedy with the monetization... :3

I appreciate your transparency, Sam. It's not everyday we get such insights from a developer. We understand it'll take time to create something truly exceptional like Mecha Attack. Keep grinding and know you've got an eager community waiting patiently with you!
