Is R.E.C.O.R.D as bad as they say?

R.E.C.ORD is just straight up not very good. Clearly capitalizing off the immense virality of UNRECORD, RECORD tries to cash in on the recognizable aesthetic and assets used in the UNRECORD trailer. However, as a game and product, it completely misses the mark. There’s no UI to speak of, outside of switching guns. There’s no control pad to fine tune your movements, causing you to pivot awkwardly without meaning to. But what’s perhaps most unforgivable is that THERE IS NO SHOOTING BUTTON.

RECORD is a first-person shooter that can hardly qualify itself as a shooter. Its UI, or complete lack thereof, is an utter mess. There’s no movement pad or buttons to crouch and aim or shoot, IN A SHOOTING GAME. How are you supposed to accurately aim or hit shots if the game doesn’t give you the adequate tools to do so? Record is a releasing game yes but the way it plays out is so sloppy. You just hover over your enemy then it just shoots. If record was meant to be a actually fun gamr it would add competive actions from small things from shooting to ducking to big things like competive modes. Yes record is releasing but all it looks like it 2012 characters  running around in 4000k graphics. Please just make it better.
