I spent $1100 to explore various aspects of the monetization. The game currently expects you to spend $4000 a month on daily discount purchases. You don't grow in power quickly but everyone else grows even more slowly. While in the first couple of months you won't be a god, over time it will be apparent how p2w the game is. They mask the daily purchases in clan auction and the discount mall. Rather than in your face $500+ cash shop limited time events, they slowly squeeze you over a long period of time.
