The hottest independent game this summer is none other than "DAVE THE DIVER," where the chubby diver uses his exceptional diving skills to catch various kinds of seafood and turn them into exquisite sushi. Unexpectedly, the game's development team, Mintrocket, announced their next product: a realistic-style PvPvE game, "Nakwon: Last Paradise.”
The overall framework of the game is divided into "Recon" and "Stealth" parts. In the game, the city of Seoul, South Korea, has been infected by a zombie virus, and people are struggling to survive among the ruins. In order to obtain necessary survival resources, players must continuously explore the ruins and mark the locations of different resource points. Since the zombies in the game cannot be completely eradicated, players can only sneak around to bring resources back to the safe zone.
Once back in the safe zone, players can exchange resources for currency, use the currency to upgrade their civilian level, weapons, and equipment, and ultimately obtain better resources. In a single game session, there will ultimately be 16 players participating at the same time, so whether to cooperate with other players or to become the last survivor… you will make the choice.
Recently, they released a 22-minute gameplay demo, which you can watch by clicking here:
Finally, they also announced that a closed beta test is coming soon.
Nakwon: Last Paradise will get its first public pre-alpha to playtest on Wednesday, 28th November at 5 pm PST, running until Sunday, 3rd December at 11:59 pm PST. The playtest is free, and available via Steam, and places are unlimited.
