Lethal Company is the hottest new indie co-op horror game in the market and by far some of the best fun I have had since I played Devour, a similar co-op horror game. Lethal Company is developed and published by Zeekers and offering players a $10 horror experience with loads of procedurally generated content to explore and be frighten with friends!
In my honest opinion, this game is fun to play with friends and pretty much will be the experience i will be speaking of during this article. The premise of Lethal Company, you and your friends playing as Employees for a company and your goal is to travel to planets in a 4 day time span and collect scrap to match or exceed the quota. The Horror part comes in when you arrive at a planet and you must scavenge a bunker that every new run will change up everytime players load into it. My buddies and I had lots of scares and laughs trying to navigate the maze of this bunker trying to find any form of scraps. While trying to avoid the horrors Inside of the bunker.
Which brings me to next point the enemies, currently we came across a specific enemy per run which has many traits to them, some can only find you by listening to you speak in-game, some only can detect you by sight and some are like an weeping angel where you must keep your eyes on them at all time.
My initial thoughts running into this game is how there is a lack of a tutorial in which I found what to do on the inside of the ship which tells you the bare bone basics of what needs to be done. While playing this completely blind you'll notice the bunker changes up every time you visit a new planet. There is a stamina bar so you can't run for too long and each planet will give you a hazard level telling you how dangerous the world is. While searching the planets you have to keep in mind to collect scrap to be able to meet quota but just know each scrap does have a weight to them and the heavier you are the less mobility you will have especially while being chased.
Lethal Company is quite fun and addicting for the amount of time me and friends played it and the fact that it is only 10 dollars and offers a fun experience with procedurally generated levels and quite good scares i highly recommend for you to grab your friends drop the 10 bucks and grab yourselves a copy and go get scared and have some fun!
