Honest thoughts from a Webtoon enjoyer
Way before, because of my obvious bias, I would've rated this higher, maybe a four or even five but basically speaking, this game is just. OK.
There's alot of problems with it. It's optimized very badly like I don't know how my phone can run Genshin Impact smoothly yet this can make my phone lag for more than 30 minutes. I hope they would take that into consideration.
Animation-wise, the lip synching sucks because it continues to lip synch even without talking. I don't know what's up with that but it comes off as lazy.
Character design. It's great. I question some choices like what happened with Lozeal and how some just doesn't fit very well but overall it's great, I don't have problems with it.
The storyline is fine. A lot of things have changed in the game like how some things aren't in order and how some scenes are just not executed very well. The previous Khun event gave me whiplash from the inconsistency of Kiseia's character writing and overall underwhelming conclusion. There are huge moments that I can really appreciate in that event but there were also moments that made me close my eyes and pretend it never existed. The Endorsi event is also meh as I've never really thought of her like that and it's more of a miss than anything else.
The gameplay's eh. I don't live for it yet I don't die for it either. The gacha is good though, I like the free summons and the free characters every certain number of pulls. A very great redeeming quality.
CONCLUSIONS
This does make me wonder how much SIU, the author, had a hand on the development cause it's missing that touch of care. The gacha is great, the designs are fine and the rest are just average, or below average, even. I hope they do listen to the complaints and read the reviews cause if not, you're just better off reading the Webtoon. The pacing's better.
