You download fortnight, connect the controller and... all you can do is move the left fungus... You arrive in a little shock, but do not get upset, and go into the settings. It's strange, but everything works there. You start to think that maybe your joystick broke down so badly and download programs for the test, but everything is clean there. With a puzzled face, you go online and try to find at least there a reasonable answer to the question "What the duck is going on here?" However, you don't find anything there either, only instructions for connecting the joystick to the phone. And here you really don't know what to do. So, let me calm you down first. Everything is fine with your joystick, it's not sick, just like the phone. The whole problem lies in the game. let's go back to the past for a while, in 2018. On Spring, Fortnight was ported to phones (first on iOS, later on android) On January 30, 2019, support for controllers appeared, and from that moment everything went well, until a certain event. Attention this is just my guess, but the dates of the beginning of the error and this event converge too well. December 4, 2022, Fortnite switches to unreal engine 5.1. This is a significant date and event, thanks to which many changes in the game took place. However, it was after this change that people began to notice changes in the mobile version of the game, namely problems with the controller. Everyone's settings began to fly off in turn, buttons and so on got in the way. after a while, everything only got worse... And here we are 2023 on November 29. a year has passed, but epic games has not fixed the bug, because of which the joysticks could not work successfully in the game. I I decided to find out from epic games support if it is possible to solve this problem, and if so, how. I will attach screenshots with correspondence, but for those who are too lazy to read, I will try to tell you briefly. They just scored. yes, no matter how prosaic it may sound, but their bug department simply stopped monitoring the situation and since the launch of the joystick connection system to the phone, they have not updated the information. Even the operator himself did not know how to help, and tried to take the conversation in a different direction. Of course, he promised that he would send a report with this problem to the department, but what do you think are the chances that they will deal with a problem on which there are fewer reports than a hair on Stephen King's head?
