It's actually good. The art and graphics are similar to Arknights. The dialogue segments are set up similarly but with some occasional moving pngs which makes it feel more immersive. The combat sprites are also similar- chibi but good detail. Decent music, art, and sound design too. The combat uses a grid system like FF tactics and Fire Emblem. The UI of the lobby is very intuitive and easy to use. Even not knowing Chinese I can navigate it very easily. I like the character designs too. The tank girls are cute.

As I played this game, I realized it had a steam version and that it was paid. That's right, isn't such a high-quality tower defense game actually a paid game? Its mobile version is free to play. Let's get back to business. This is a cartoon-style tower defense game. However! It differs from more traditional tower defense. The gameplay is very creative and hardcore. You can choose the location where you want your base to be, but it isn't just that simple! The more vulnerable the location is, the more resources you can get, which we call high-risk, high-return.

Good game! Yes, same play style as arknights but, improved in my opinion. It's more challenging, you get to see fights in a 3d art style, and you can move characters in-fight. The music is cool and unique and the story keeps you coming back for more. One of my favorite features is the voice acting. It's very well done and engaging. My only complaint is the voice acting doesn't extend beyond chapter 1, including interrogations. Would love that to be more consistent. It would also be nice to have a system of replacing fallen characters in combat. But hey, room for improvement.
