Again, would have been perfect if it were easier to attain cards in game.(by this i mean after the "honeymoon" phase for new players wears out)
However this one is more accessible than duel links in some aspects as although it is undoubtedly the more complex of the two, it has more variety, and no anime characters and abilities if those aspects weren't to your liking.
Master duel still has good visuals and is a more pure experience with banger after banger soundtracks and storylines. (that are albeit boring to go through in terms of actual gameplay) it's fairly new compared to DL so its still catching up with regards to events and polish.
A HUGE and crucial distinction between DL and MD is the fact that it's easier to get the cards you want and build the decks you like in MD as no card (outside of a few event exclusives) is locked behind paywalls. You see, in this game you can dismantle cards you don't need or want for 10/20/30 points depending on it's grade; (Normal, glossy, prismatic) and to craft a card you want you need 30 points, which essentially means you can turn any 3 cards you don't need or use into another card you want, (provided it's the same rarity)maybe less depending on the grade of the card. (Card grade based on RNG upon acquiring)
Even if you pull the wrong cards from packs you could always just dismantle them and either stockpile the points or exchange them for those you want instead. There are also archetype specific boxes so that it'll be easier to pull what you want instead of looking for needles in a hay stack.
4.5 ish out of 5. Eventually quit as there was just not much to do. It's still tough to build a lot of decks but atleast here once you get the expensive sr and ur (super and ultra rare respectively) staples you can slowly grind points over time.
Good game, even if it's a bit tense and frustrating at times. Oh and one important thing i nearly forgot to mention, if your phone is a potato i wouldn't recommend. Mobile is it's worst port and you'd need a powerful device to play it at reasonable fps rates.

Coming back to Duel Links after spending more time in both Master Duel and the physical TCG, its an absolute breath of fresh air. The three monsters/spells/trap zones and a smaller pool in regards to the 4000 LP system makes matches a quick breeze; a vastly different beast from the 5-10 minute, FTK/OTK solitaire game you'll find in the other formats. Though the monetization can be burdensome and add a pay-wall, the minute to minute gameplay is great, with a plethora of conte dive into.

An Honest Gamer's Take on Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel has undoubtedly taken the digital card game community by storm since its release, and as a professional gamer with a deep-rooted history in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, I'd like to offer a neutral review of this much-anticipated title. Graphics and Visuals (7/10): Master Duel brings the iconic Yu-Gi-Oh! card battles to life with visually stunning card animations and artwork. The card effects are vibrant and capture the essence of the series. However, the user interface feels somewhat cluttered, and it can be challenging to navigate during intense duels.

Okay let's start like that.I rarely write about games but as a fan of the anime and the games I am disappointed with the game . I played Dual links and it was an okay game with events and stuff but I got bored and I stopped .So when I saw that new game I was excited to get back but wasn't prepared for that. They basically ruined the game according to me duels are supposed to be fast phased battles and bow waiting for unlimited time for my opponent to make a move if he know he knows . Long stand by phase long draw phase basically waist of time .The other thing are those overpowered decks meta decks or what ever they are called cmon on my turn I am supposed to develop a strategy and I am sitting there basically watching how the other guy is activating endless chain summoning monster after monster above 3000 atk PTS with endless effects . In stead of trying cards and strategies you are playing with the same 40 cards of 2-3 copies so you can draw and do the same thing over and over again .All of the other cards are just for collection no creativity or thinking what so ever just repeat and repeat until someone with even crazier effects bust you up .
