Day 12: Parasite Days
Platform: Android
Let me preface this by saying that this game is amazingly cute, and extremely funny as well, and I'm absolutely in love with this simple little hidden gem of a game. I don't want to give any spoilers so I'm going to keep this pretty vague. It's a chill, casual game and you can play it with one hand if you desire. It's categorized as adventure and simulation, and let's just go with that since it's just so unique it's kind of hard for me to categorize.
You start out with a parasite and have to deal with it, you play a couple of little mini games to earn coins in order to do so. The dialogue between the characters is cute and comical, and the pixel aesthetic is fun. It took me about an hour and a half to play through the first time. There are 10 different endings, and hints as to how to get each one, so the replayability value is really high, in my opinion.
I honestly had no idea what to expect when I picked this up, as I don't actually read much of what most of these are about when I'm looking for new games (that I don't already have or haven't already played, of course) for my 366 Days series, but I'm so glad I came across Parasite Days. I plan to go through and unlock the other 9 endings (I got ending #3 the first time) when I've got a chance. This game is perfect to unwind with, and just gives off overall good vibes while playing. It's easily earned a spot in my top fave mobile games. I definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone. Solid 10/10.
If any of you decide to play it, post in the comments what ending you got on your first playthrough if you'd like, and let's see how many different ones we all get.
