Day 21: Boba Story
Platform: Android
This is a cute, chill little shop management sim where you have to serve customers their orders of boba tea. There's no extensive assembly line or anything, just when they want one, you tap them, and it automatically makes it. The only exception I've seen to this so far is when a customer wants a flavour that's not on the menu, you then have to set up a drink that contains it. There are frequent prompts to do a little mini game to make the drinks, which are fast and simple. There are many ways to customise the drinks, from the flavours, to the lids and straws, all of which are super cute. You can also customise the different areas of the shop, such as the waiting area and prep counters, etc.
I really like how you set the pace for the game, you can make it as chill or chaotic as you want, and don't have to worry about getting overwhelmed. The only ads are optional and for bonuses, and of course there's IAPs for currency, but that's to be expected. The lo-fi beats that play add to the relaxing factor of the game. The music is chill, the characters are absolutely adorable, and the gameplay is relaxed. I recommend Boba Story to anyone who like cute chill games to wind down and relax with.

Day 28: A Tavern for Tea Platform: Android This is a unique almost like visual novel style game where you have a couple of customers come in and you serve them tea, but there's more to it than that. There's actually a nice storyline, and I'll keep this brief as this is a very short game and I don't want to give any spoilers. It's short, but after certain instances if something doesn't go as planned, you get clues as to what to do next to progress the situation, and taken back to the title screen to basically redo the scenario from the beginning each time, with notes and knowledge of how to go down the correct path the next time. I found this to be just a bit tedious, but it's not too bad. I actually haven't gotten to the end yet, as I've had to start over a bunch, but I've enjoyed it and would like to get to the end at some point. I recommend A Tavern for Tea to those who like relaxing games with chill music, and who don't mind a little backtracking and thinking in the process.

Day 9: Music Tower: Tap Tiles Platform: Android This is a chill and relaxing rhythm game with a cute aesthetic. If there is such thing as a cozy rhythm game, this is it. You play music to collect tickets to buy decorative furnishings for your music stage. You can also craft some of them by collecting bonus material boxes as you play. The music is relaxing and is easy to play, and the characters are cute. The only bad thing is having to wait for furnishings to finish building (think typical city builder) but if you get the game with Google Play Pass, all the in-app purchases are free, so you can purchase currency for free and get everything completed without the wait.

Day 15: Miracle Merchant Platform: Android This is a rather unique card-based game where you are a potion merchant and have to make your customers' orders using four cards from your deck. You start with one card from each of four stacks flipped over, each stack containing a different color/element from the rest. Your customers have a main element request, and a secondary, which is optional, but the main one is mandatory to include. Each card has a symbol of an element that will give you bonus points if you place the two cards side by side on the particular side the extra symbol is on. The goal is to make all your customers' potions while getting a score of at least 1 on each one until your deck runs out. That sounds simple enough, but there are also "evil" cards mixed in which will take points away, but some of the other cards have those as their extra symbol, so you can get points back that way. There's also bonus points if you place two of the same element side by side, and that bonus stacks with the extra symbol bonus.
