Drifters, in order to better maintain the gaming environment and enhance the gaming experience, we are starting a major update every Wednesday. This will include bug fixes and the addition of new content. Please note that there will be a one-hour server maintenance for this update.

Maintenance Schedule: 2023/1/24 10:00-11:00 (UTC+8)

Here are the additions and changes coming in tomorrow's update:

New Additions:

1. New Creatures: Polar Sharks, Polar Seamonkeys

- New creatures in the snowy area: Polar Sharks and Polar Seamonkeys.

- Killing them will drop shark meat, shark heads, and sea monkey meat, sea monkey heads.

New Systems:1. Ambush System:

- Players who have left the novice stage may occasionally be attacked by sharks.

- Sharks have a chance to damage the raft, and players swimming near the raft may also be attacked.

- Killing sharks will drop shark meat and shark heads.

2. Character Leveling System:

- Different level players will now have exclusive level icons.

- Level-up gifts will be automatically distributed after the update, reaching the corresponding level to unlock them (thanks to player Evil for providing bug information). - Experience points can be gained by killing monsters, other players, and searching for resources.3. New Device Levels:

- Level 2 and Level 3 automatic vending machines are now open.

- Upgrading devices unlocks Level 2 and Level 3 automatic vending machines with new items.

Optimizations:

1. Improved the effects of consuming special foods; special foods can now increase satiety and provide water-related buffs

2. Optimized scene collisions to improve situations where players get stuck in the scene.

3. Enhanced the display of enemy health bars in dark areas.

4. Improved item call-up logic, distinguishing between land and raft.

Bug Fixes:

1. Resolved the issue of health bars flickering.

2. Fixed the issue of upgrade devices showing insufficient materials.

3. Fixed collision issues in the dark area square (thanks to players Titannia\Aerwyn for providing bug information).

4. Fixed the problem of the in-game announcement not being switchable.

We apologize for any bugs encountered in the game. As beta testing is ongoing, there are still many issues and shortcomings. We welcome feedback and suggestions from players through Discord.
