1K View2024-01-24I'd say that Metabolts Day 1 test was a below average game that apparently will plan to have play to earn mechanics in the game. The only saving grace for this game is the great anime art style for the characters. Sadly I feel it's wasted on this game that has lackluster story cinematics and a combat system that has very little to it other than to push the flashy buttons when you need to. Which while it isn't full auto combat, it was pretty boring. The combat wasn't even that exciting to look at until you activate an ultimate. I wasn't a fan of the menu systems in the game, I can feel that they were going for an artistic style, but it just felt messy to me. I think this games overall score is a 4/10. Play To Earn mechanics aside, I just didn't find the game to grab my interest.

⚔️Metabolts Day 1 is out to test right now and it definitely felt pretty bare bones which of course makes sense since it is a test. I only found out later on that this game is actually a Play To Earn game as well after doing a little bit of research. If I didn't look it up, I would have never known since I never came across any of it in the game since most things are under construction. The story was lackluster though and the gameplay was almost all auto pilot. You just had to push the faces when they flash and that's about it.

My review for this game:
Good graphics, an interesting story, great characters designs and tons of options to build your own unique hero, this game has everything! And the best part, it's easy to play.
At first i thought it was another complex game with tons of things to learn but no! It's really easy to understand and once you realize, you are doing a lot of damage and dominating everything like a pro really fast, the progression feels natural and that's my favorite part.

No camera controls
Gameplay that doesn't suit the controls.
while i enjoyed the story aspect somewhat everything else was a massive letdown, considering what mobile devices are capable of, it just felt like a low effort entry in the series.
