2K View2024-01-30The game focuses on Resna and the group of adventurers and alchemists that she meets throughout her journey to unravel the mysteries of forgotten alchemy. I have to say that the graphics and character models are great while it still resembles what the series have shown till now.
The combat gameplay is like most turn-based RPG games with your characters and the enemies taking turns throughout the battle. In Atelier Resleriana, your characters have three different skills based on their roles with different effects that can change the tide of battle when used properly.
However, turn-based combat is a slog and only gets worse as the difficulty spikes. Resource gathering is an on-rails section with no degree of roaming or exploration and can get boring and repetitive very quickly.
