We've all had a beat stuck in our heads that stayed with us the entire day. At best, we forgot it after a few hours without annoying too many people with our incessant humming, and at worst, we got caught busting a move right when we thought no one was looking! It's no wonder that this human behavior was captured and turned into a genre of entertainment known as rhythm games. With the success of titles like

Rotaeno is a music game that uses a smartphone's gyroscope to spin the device and press notes to the beat. A lot of rhythm games are coming to smartphones.  For the most part, they are pianos or Taiko clones.  But once in a thousand years, one game comes out that justifies the platform on which this game came out.  Let's say cheers!  Because Rotaeno is just such a game.  The gyroscope mechanic is (surprisingly) rarely used in mobile games, much more it has taken root in games on the ps-movie or several different approaches from Nintendo.  But now I want to tell you, it works best on smartphones.  The rotation mechanic makes the whole session much more dynamic than it could be.  + The feeling becomes even more interesting when you realize that this is not just an abstract level, but a racing track along which you fly at great speed.
