I had big hopes for this game and covered it several times because of how good it was shaping to be as a game compared to the anime and manga. It had very fun combat, it put out good vibes. But this time around, it felt like it had so many red flags.
$999 (90% off for $99) bait for something that isn't even worth that much money, to the censorship of a few features and the removal / shifting of a few things during the tutorial, making it feel like filler rather than being authentic from episode one and moving forward in that kind of style, rather than jumping back and forth.

The main issue is the effort required to obtain anything valuable. You don't get any huge event or launch benefits as we did in the test, and all beta access was not transferred over, so you're left with no currency; you get literal pennies and require around 2600 of them to try and draw a 0.3% SSR character. What the hell.
Add in the fact that they have a paywall and time gate for the whole story progression, means that if you want to sit down and get into the story, you'll have to wait a few weeks to unlock it slow or spend money.
While yes, it looks good, plays good and you may be a big fan it is far from perfect.
