Day 29: Iromaze Ink Shop
Platform I Played On: Android
My apologies, as I've been a bit remiss with my challenge. I'm hoping to be back on track shortly, possibly with a few small changes in my format, and will attempt to make up for lost time, so please bear with me.
Today's game is about matching colour swatches and making new colours when needed, in a timed but chill environment. The game's audio is in Japanese with English subtitles and has anime vibes, which I'm always a fan of.
Your job is at an ink factory/shipping facility, and as I mentioned, you have to match ink colours as closely as you can to what is being asked for. At the end of each set of requests, there's a bonus round where you get extra points for sorting the colours from brightest (which should actually be called "lightest", but I digress) to darkest.
Another thing that pops up occasionally is it'll ask you to choose the name of a colour in Japanese, so if you're learning Japanese or already know some, it's pretty cool.
One thing to look out for both when filling the order and sorting during the bonus is that some colours are VERY similar, so if you're playing outside with any glare, or don't have your screen brightness up pretty high, it'll be rather difficult to tell some of the darker colours apart.
I enjoyed it in small sessions, and I recommend it if you like chill games that are good for a bit here and there, or just need a quick distraction, or something to kill some time.
