Netmarble Recruiting Developers for Mobile RPG Game of Thrones
18K View2024-03-12Two years ago, at the Netmarble Together with Press event, Netmarble, developer of Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds and Seven Deadly Sins Origin, revealed plans to develop an open world RPG using the Game of Thrones IP, in partnership with HBO Studios. However, not much information was available currently except a teaser.
It appears that after the initial announcement two years ago, Netmarble is progressing with the development of their open-world RPG based on the Game of Thrones IP, which indicates that they are moving into a more active phase of development.
Game of Thrones has indeed been adapted into various gaming formats before, with experiences ranging from story-driven episodic games, like those from Telltale Games, to strategy and role-playing games on mobile platforms. Each adaptation has brought different elements of the GoT world to life. It is likely that the upcoming game will try to capture the high-risk, high-reward stakes that are a hallmark of both the television series and the novels.

Lol, they are working on a 4th big project now? Just how much money does this company have?? I have never seen any mobile game company working on 3 projects at the same time, let alone 4 ! (Seven Knights ReBirth, 7DS Origin, Solo Leveling and now this GOT)
