How I Got Punishing Gray Raven After the Game Became Unavailable in My Region (Floating Reverie Update)

After the Floating Reverie update, I couldn't play Punishing Gray Raven in India. Feeling disheartened, I deleted the game. Then, I decided to try the Japanese version. But starting over made me even sadder. Then, a solution dawned on me.

I downloaded a Malaysian VPN since the game is accessible there and it's close to India, minimizing speed issues. After connecting to a Malaysian server, I checked TapTap, and there it was! However, I noticed the internet speed dropped while downloading. Realizing I was virtually in Malaysia, I searched for the game on Google Play Store, and voila! It was available. Problem solved.

Note: If using a hotspot, ensure only your device is connected to avoid speed issues. Mobile data should work fine.

Edit:

Solution 1 : Download a VPN and get the game from Google's Play Store. This is the most obvious solution.

Solution 2 : Create a Google Account while your VPN is switched on meaning you are virtually in a country where Punishing: Gray Raven is available. Then login using your newly created account. Open Play Store and get the game. I haven't verified this method.

Solution 3 : One guy advised to use QooApp store. You can get this application from the internet not in your typical Google's Play Store. Then install the game from there. I downloaded QooApp and the game is there. You do not need a VPN.

Solution 4 : Travel to another country. ;)

Thank you very much for the tip! I deleted pgr a few months ago due to storage problem. Got myself a new phone and when I tried to download it through tap tap, I was disheartened when I saw that I couldn't play it anymore. thanks to you I will be able to play it once again. <3

I will add one final note here to help others who wish to play this when the next test is available. There are two versions of this game in play store - this one is only available in Philippines region and there is another version which is easier to access. The other one is easily available in Canada region as well as a few other countries. To actually download these games from Play Store, you will need two things - a Google account not tied to any payment card or Google wallet and a VPN for the region you want. The reason for account not tied to a payment card is because Google will not allow you to use other country outside the one the card is tied to.

i did soo much ,just for this,also tried VPN,no it dint work ,I'm from India,I was pre register in the playstore,but I could not wait ,I came here I Wass like soo happ,but dint not get a chance,I just wanna say that I tried like heavy gb games here in tapta,none of the ever work ILL JUST PLAY IT LEAGGALY
