hi folks, I participated in the HomeWorld beta and I got an early look at the game. I have played the PC version and also the remastered PC versions. the control schema takes a little while to get your head around. RTS games are notoriously difficult on mobile, and to best express them on the mobile platform and to make them appear alike their PC counterparts is a mammoth undertaking. I say that but I think the team behind Homeworld mobile have done a really good job.
Even though it's still invite only into the beta I'm grateful that I got in and when it comes out I'm pretty sure it'll be a mainstay on my device.
Folks please give it a chance as it's pretty interesting. there's a great deal of storytelling the deeper you get into it.
I only played campaign. I don't know if there's PVP but from the few hours that I put into this I really enjoyed it.
There is a Discord channel and the devs are in there ready to provide tips support and just general advice so the game is being well looked after in beta and hopefully into a release sometime soon.
As much as I love the PC Homeworld games, this one just doesn't quite hold up to par with them, even for a mobile game.

i tried it too bro and i was disappointed not even close to PC Homeworld i know the hardship to make a mobile version of any PC game but this one has failed horribly, not just in UI the story the animation everything, it's a very minimalistic version of an rts game trying to look like Homeworld , now i'm playing Homeworld 3 (PC) and i don't think any mobile game will come close not even in the next decade, as much lazy as i am nowadays and prefer to play on a 10 inch tablet instead of turning on and plugging my 19 inch laptop will still prefer to play RTS games on it cause since the birth of the smartphones all devs failed to copy RTS and even FPS games (campaigns specially) unless you like pkayimg those stupid base builders that have no startegy at all and just depends on how big your wallet is.
