Straight to the point! The gameplay is the usual Metal Slug gameplay you know and love but with much more added fun to it ! There are so many characters , vehicles and weapons to choose from and play with, this also includes the many bosses you will meet and fight as well as the multiple different modes the game offers besides the main storyline.

Charecters!
There are some of the many characters the game give you as you progress, you can make a team of 3 as u finish the stages and fight bosses!

Marco the main guy and the one you start the game with, he has grenades and a skill that boosts his damage and fire rate.
Lyla enjoy explosions and bombs that are kind of high-tech in nature.
Trevor is the guy that idolizes Marco! He seems to be good ag melee attacking with his skills.
Scarlett has a tennis racket she uses for her explosive skill! She will beat you up.
Kukik has a dog… that’s all you need to know.
Weapons!
The game offers a variety of weapons to use such guns, machine guns, shotguns, bazookas, flamethrowers and much more! All these can be gained and upgraded, some are characters specific where they work beat with a certain character than others.
The Hub!
The game also has a Hub area where you can see all other players together, get missions and play the other game modes as well, here you can also get missions and rewards as well as pull for weapons on a (Gacha) system…. And much more.
Opinion and conclusion!
Personally i find the game extremely fun to play, maybe because i enjoyed the old Metal Slug games previously but this isn’t a bad game by all means and the additions to it are also fun (all the characters and weapons), it makes u feel the progression of the game pretty well.
On the other hand i still and never will enjoy the way mobile games have extensive “shops” and “gacha” that can taint the gameplay and enjoyment of games, i personally haven’t felt it yet with this game but i might as i keep playing.
i would still recommend this game to fans of the old games and my verdict for it is 7/10 ⭐️, i love the game and hope others can enjoy it as well!

This is the metal slug we all deserve!
It looks and sounds good. The sprites are classically small and have little animation, but are set against bright, eye-pleasing backgrounds. The sound is effective, even with the Byuden theme tune and slightly digitized vocals. It's a little slow at some time, but that slowness doesn't stop you from having fun!
This slows down the pace of the game and makes the control scheme more manageable on mobile devices.

Nice review 🔥🔥 Im loving the game to,and Im from Portugal,im playing from TapTap becouse in GoogleStore says not availble in my region,the strange thing is when i go to shop show Euro wich is the currency rom Portugal,and when Im gona buy somthing it says not availble in my region but it show Euro currency ,strange...but this not stop me playing the game,Im Lv 97 Im on the server Sea 156 In game name CyberDust i allready have a lot of charecters and weapons all by grinding 💪🏼💪🏼🔥🔥🔥
