Gege Akutami and MAPPA’s Jujutsu Kaisen anime series has set the Guinness World Record for the most in-demand animated TV show in 2023. According to data science firm Parrot Analytics and Guinness World Records, Jujutsu Kaisen had a global demand rating 71.2 times higher than the average TV show.
Jujutsu Kaisen surpasses other top shonen anime to become Guinness World Records’ most in-demand animated TV show in 2023. The anime beat out strong contenders like One Piece and Attack on Titan to secure the top position in the rankings.
Jujutsu Kaisen took the lead in 2023 due to a surge in popularity towards the end of the year, boosted by the release of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2. The season 3 is expected to be released in 2025.

of course it does deserve it the show is amazing, with all the events happening we all wonder "what's gonna happen next" so much, and in my opinion it's better than attack on titan and one piece.

Author likedYou can't compare it to One Piece after just one season, the animation is good but on the story level One Piece is a legendary edition, just like Dragon Ball or Naruto.

it's a good show but guiness world record is a far cry tbh from my perspective, this year's Frieren: Beyond Journey's End had better story telling and animation at times but still it flew under the radar mostly, so no whatever they claim is purely from their own perspective and I call it pure b.s.: I mean I loved that jujutsu had a very interesting end at season 2 but still not up there.
