👍 Pros:
- Super fun maps with an average difficulty in general
- Totally free, with no micro transactions and full access to all maps
- The person who writes the tip quotes has charisma and charm
- Sleek and satisfying UI
- Learning the story piece by piece is not only a cool incentive to keep playing after a while, but the storytelling itself is poetic and beautiful
👎 Cons:
- The weird thing with the TapTap log in that makes it unavailable for non-Chinese players. It’s a real shame that I can’t access the cloud and save my progress
- There should be a wider variety of music genre, which consequently would allow for a larger variety of mapping styles
- The currency system, although totally free, has a very low value per play, and it makes it tedious to acquire enough credits for new songs. This, along with the cloud login issue, add up to a bigger problem for new players and the foreseeable future

It’s a great game, for what it’s worth. I’ve been playing it since 2020 and I have yet to get tired of it. Still, it would be nice to see a community section or maps made by other players. I know this is a suggestion that is quite popular within the community, and it puzzles me why it hasn’t been implemented yet. Additionally, I’d rather have the login issue solved above any other new feature. It is a concerning matter for players like me who are afraid of losing their progress but can’t afford to go through the trouble of the temporary “fix” other players have come up with (specifically referring to that whole ‘downloading apk to connect to the Chinese server’ ordeal). Perhaps another option for syncing progress would be in order. Of course, if the developers are working on any of the lacking features I mentioned behind the scenes and I turn out to be ill informed, then I stand corrected and I will wait patiently for them to be implemented.
Regardless, I love the game and I’d still recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fun rhythm game. I honestly believe it is worth playing despite the issues I have listed above, for I only highlight them in order to see the game grow.
