Red Dead Redemption 2 gave me the feeling of having a second life.
I bought the game as soon as it was released, but only played through the first chapter without even leaving the snowy mountains due to various reasons, and it just sat in my game library collecting dust.
Recently, I picked it up again and played for over 50 hours straight, completing the third chapter. I can't bear to continue the story because I'm afraid of missing out on the surprises this game world has to offer.
The vast map, beautiful scenery, and the multitude of collectibles and interactive elements make it hard to imagine that playing a game could feel like experiencing another life. The immersion is particularly strong, and the goals set for collecting items are far from tedious. Moreover, there are always different surprises along the way. It's worthwhile.
