With the Fallout franchise the talk on everybody’s lips, it is no surprise that fans are desperate for more. Luckily for them, Fallout 5 may be arriving a lot sooner than we had hoped.

But The Elder Scrolls 6 should still be the next game to be released.It’s not assumed that TESVI will launch any time soon, possibly being upwards of five years away.

That means that Fallout 5 could potentially be a decade away from release, if we’re being realistic and allowing it sufficient development time following on from TESVI.A new rumour suggests though that another Fallout game might be in the works, an idea that’s possibly come to fruition due to the franchise’s recent success.

Industry insider Jez Corden touched on the topic in the latest episode of the Xbox Two podcast (via GameRanx): “They are currently formulating plans on how to get the next Fallout, here for us, sooner rather than later. Which I know is vague as hell, but we can’t seem (to stop) talking about, will we see Fallout this decade?”

Jez then went on to say that Starfield’s Creation Engine 2 should speed up development, adding that the creation of another Fallout game could be passed to another studio: “That’s what they’re talking about right now.”

Asking Bethesda to let someone else do the game is like asking China to do Lord Of The Ring. Fighting Sauron suddely becomes a King Fu acrobatic fight scenes. Have you lost your damn mind? If you have not played the original 1997 Fallout - yes the original 2D, bied eye view game - YOU SHOULDN'T EVEN COMMENT ABOUT THIS LEGENDARY GAME! These are the games I recommend you Editor to avoid commenting. I think you are young person. I am 46. I lived through the eta where potato graphic was our generation best golden game ears. You shall not comment on: 1. FALLOUT and its mods and series 2. Arcanum 3. Icewind Dale and all its series. 4. Doom 5. Quake and all its series. 6. Elder Scrolls and its Series 7. Warcraft 1,2,3 & and its custom games including Dota 8. And all other games that belongs to era that you were not born into! Stay away from games that pioneered what today online games is. Especially from 1997 to 2001. You don't even know what Arcanum game or Septerra Core was. So sush!

but the people who made fallout 76 ,4, and 3 aren't even the same dev group from the first 2 games. fallout: new vagus is generally seen as the best game out of all the 3d games BECAUSE it was developed with the help of obsidian. so get obsidian to help again is what I'd say, there great. honestly, I think most people are worried bathesda is going to modernise it like how most modern games add layers of pay-walls to their content. (which is ironic, doing that to a game that criticises the capitalist culture of endless consumption, growth until the point of self-destructio) (and before you go on about it, I did play fallout 1 and 2 they are amazing games)
