What were moments in your gaming history that made you say WOW!?
5K View2024-05-10I was just thinking that I have not had a wow moment in quite a while.
My most impressive moments:
Atari 2600 β First time being able to manipulate images on my TV screen!
Dungeons of Daggorath. 3D, immersive audio effects, just an amazing experience at the time.
Super Mario (NES), scrolling screen, great music and controls, huge game, hidden secrets!
Trade Wars 2002, my first online (BBS) multi player game. I could not believe that there were other people from other parts of the town/world in the game with me doing their own thing.
Super Mario 64, incredible graphics and controls, 3D open world
Half-Life 2, picking up a TV, the power cord sparking and tearing from the wall, then throwing the TV out a window having the glass shatter and then the TV falling all the way to the ground outside the building. Like what the actual F?!?!?
Grand Theft Auto 5, the level of detail in that game just amazed me beyond belief.
Half-Life Alyx, when I was in those sewers with my flashlight with head crabs around it brought my whole body to a new level of gaming experience.
What will wow me next? I have played AMAZING games. Red Dead 2, Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077 and those games wowed me with their story and gameplay, but the tech was nothing new that I had not experienced before. I am hoping that GTA6 will take it to a new level of detail that I will be blown away.

Childhood Wonder: My First Encounter with World of Warcraft
As a kid, my first experience playing Warcraft left me in awe.
Despite the less mature game development at the time, World of Warcraft's grand and epic setting, intricate plot, and stunning artistry captivated me.
From the serene lakes to the play of light and shadow, and the intricate details of ancient fortresses and churches.
Every aspect of the game made me feel like I was truly living in the world of Azeroth.

my biggest gaming achievement.
The year was 2023. I was randomly scrolling crome for a new game by netease games. Than I find this game, download it and start playing.
When I start playing the game was in close beta test. I enjoyed it very much. I also played it with my cousins. Now game has been fully released and I got rewards for being a part of the beta test. According to me it is a biggest gaming achievement in my whole life.
