Here’s one thing that’s consistent in most Chinese gacha games. The playable roster is mostly female. It seems like every Chinese gacha developers are following Hoyoverse’s footsteps of making gacha games with pure female playable roster. I think it’s because of one child policy that happened years ago, and the male population of China almost reached 60%. This may be why playable males are rare these days. I think around year 2050 the Chinese gacha developers will be open to adding males as playable characters.
