When my twin sister & I were in 4th/5th grade, the parentals gifted us our first console: the Family Computer aka Famicom (my age is showing). We took to it like a duck to water.
I remember we had this light blue cartridge with multiple games in it. Google says such cartridge is called multicart and the one we had... was probably a bootleg. Oops?
Anyway, some of the titles I remember (aside from Super Mario) were: TwinBee, Battle City, Bomberman, Donkey Kong, Spartan X, Road Fighter, & Circus Charlie. Ah memories.

We also had a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) with Zapper where we mainly played shooting games like Duck Hunt.
When we relocated, we didn't bring our consoles with us even though they were still working fine.
Eventually we were given a PlayStation > PS2 > PSP until we could afford to buy them consoles ourselves (yay adulting).

PS1 and PS2 are the best consoles during the 90's and early 2000's Silent hill, resident evil, dino crisis and zelda games.
