Alright let's talking bout Wuthering Tsunami. Not Waves, because apparently it's too heavy on devices for now
Gameplay : The world building is similar to genshin impact.
The voice acting is not so good. But it's enjoyable. The side quests are longer than main story. They do lack that creative writing. Story needs a good overhaul.
The MC is similar to HSR MC, many of the things is similar to HSR.
Combat : Ngl, the combat feels similar to TOF. Three member team. Not very helpful tbh. The character skills needs creativity.
Lots of game bugs. Needs optimization for devices.
Game is 90% finished. 10% bugs and lacks optimization.
It's not the Genshin Killer I was hoping it to be.
I hope PROJECT MUGEN does it.
Future updates might make this game better but it's not surpassing Genshin
I quit genshin because of this game tho. Let's see what awaits us further

Well they didn't really copy-paste genshin but Honkai star rail, even in the subtitles u can see the same correction /meaning method as employed in HSR. On top of that the Mcs are similar to HSR. And the opening scene as well. HSR has the general Jing Yuan, wuwa has Jiyan. Similar names as well.

Is it copying though? Genshin and hsr did not invent these things ya’ll are talking about, tof? That game still exists? lol, but yes they are similar as for the gacha system literally multiple games use that type of system it’s not just genshin or hsr

Wuthering Waves Game Review
So, Wuthering Waves, a game by Kuro released in May, 2024. I think it is a wonderful game. It has innovative combat in comparison to its “rival”, Genshin Impact by Hoyoverse, and it has riveting scenery and amazing character designs (let’s not forget the “jiggle physics” and Scar’s you-know-what). But it still has its Pros and Cons. 👍 Pros: As said previously, it has riveting scenery, similar level to that of Genshin, innovative combat, and character designs. The games combat is amazing, all character having different playstyles and roles within the party to allow for a variety of ways to build teams, and fight. It also has gorgeous scenery, rivaling that of Genshin, allowing for various ways to take pictures and explore. And, one last thing, you’re able to run up walls like, excuse me what?! 👎 Cons:  As for the cons, it has a lot of issues, given that it is a new game, I’ll cut it some slack. Anyways, there are various bugs, and the game crashes every once in a while (at least for me and I’ve seen a few YouTubers talk about this). Similarly, it also gets laggy now and then preventing and smooth playing experience. The game also has code showing in various areas instead of highlighting or bolding certain words. Moving on, the storyline drones on and lacks something to engage the player. The voice acting is okay (no hate to the VAs though) since some characters sound like they came straight out of a Zoom call.

Wuthering waves Global release honest review!
Firstly thank you kuro games for making another banger, the developers have worked hard and us fans are very thankful. I will review this as a person who thankfully had the luxury to play it with a decent 8Gen2 device so my experiences might differ from the people with mid range or lower devices. I have played the game since release without a day missed and I'm at union level 37 as I'm typing this so my review is completely based off of my personal experience.

What's your review on your first gameplay ?
For me, it’s actually quite disappointing. Wuthering Waves has made some useful optimizations based on Genshin Impact. In terms of combat experience, whether it's locking the camera, breaking moves, switching techniques, the controls are smooth in all aspects, meeting Kuro Games' strengths in the basics. However, beyond that, the feel of the open world, the distant views, dialogues, and camera angles, they are all similar to Genshin Impact (and a bit worse, to be honest). Is your project’s goal just to copy Genshin Impact? Yes, surpassing Genshin Impact is not easy, but Genshin is already at this level. To blatantly copy this openly is quite bold. Oh, and the map design is lacking. Some places are clearly not meant for exploration. Are the elevators really that fun? When almost everything besides combat is the same as in Genshin Impact, there’s not much to say. I could point out details one by one. What about the character and weapon gacha banners? Mixed banners, exclusive weapons, balance issues, high grinding requirements and more – but honestly,  these topics are all too familiar at this point. They're either typical of miHoYo, common in anime games, or typical of the "Chinese-style imitation mixed with anime-game" genre. Regarding these "bad practices," opinions could not be more abundant. To be honest, it’s really just Kuro Games’ combat mechanics wrapped in a Genshin Impact-like shell. That's pretty much the gist of the game.
