Honestly, this has confused me since I played his hangout quest and especially after the most recent “Iridescent Tour” event with Itto, I would love if someone could explain this.
So to summarize what I THINK is happening: Gorou writes an advice column for “That’s Life” magazine. Yae Miko (as editor-in-chief) decided to draw in more readers by concocting the busty, elegant character of Miss Hina and attributing Gorou’s advice to her, without telling him. Gorou, for whatever reason, does not actually read the magazine and assumes she’s just another writer. Even though Traveler and Paimon attempt to stop him from seeing Miss Hina’s cutout during the Hangout, he eventually sees it in this most recent event. Then, as a gag, Gorou is too dumb to realize she’s a gender bent version of himself.
Is that it? Is Gorou so uninterested in feedback to his advice column that he just never reads it? Does NO ONE at the publishing house tell him about it? Why keep it a secret?
I admit, I might be overthinking it, but it’s just weird that such a capable general would then see a Yassified version of himself and go “yep, that’s a real person”.
I prefer her 🥲
