PUBG MOBILE and LINE FRIENDS reveal new in-game items

PUBG MOBILE, one of the world’s most popular mobile games, is revealing further details of the exclusive items available as part of its partnership with one of the world’s fastest-growing global character brands, LINE FRIENDS.

The partnership, which began on June 18th, introduced the globally beloved characters of LINE FRIENDS into the game, allowing players to earn limited-time-themed items. PUBG MOBILE players have nearly four weeks of themed events, content, and challenges to look forward to in this exciting combination of two popular entertainment universes.

LINE FRIENDS is a global character brand that originally started with the BROWN & FRIENDS characters, created for use as stickers for the leading mobile messenger app LINE and its 200 million users. Its iconic characters, such as BROWN, CONY, and SALLY are known to fans worldwide. LINE FRIENDS is now extending its distinct character line-up to PUBG MOBILE.

Since June 18th, players have been able to earn the time-limited LINE FRIENDS themed outfit “CONY Set” by giving likes to outfits displayed in the virtual shop window. Beginning yesterday, June 23rd, players have also been able to decorate their virtual dining tables with Afternoon Tea items, unlocked through daily missions, in order to receive the Dino BROWN Backpack (Level 3).

A number of new LINE FRIENDS-themed items will be available in-game. Players will also be able to redeem discount coupons by completing various new missions in the event center. The available items include:

CONY Set, BROWN Set, LINE FRIENDS Finish, LINE FRIENDS Parachute, BROWN UAZ, SALLY Helmet, SALLY-Pan, SALLY Backpack, Dino BROWN Backpack, Burger BROWN Ornament, Dessert CONY Ornament, Pizza SALLY Ornament, and Chips LEONARD Ornament.

PUBG MOBILE players have also been loving the Challenge, an exciting community event that began on June 20th. Those who take part will have the chance to win exclusive LINE FRIENDS items, so this is not a challenge to miss! To enter, players team up with friends and take a squad picture in a match showing a “Friends'' theme, with one teammate wearing the “CONY Set'' outfit. The winning team will receive 4 LINE FRIENDS Ornaments as rewards.
