In roughly 2 and a half hours, I tackled missions, explored optional quests, and experimented with different builds in this roguelike first-person shooter.
The gameplay pits you against waves of zombies in various rooms, starting with a basic pistol and upgrading with weapons dropped by enemies. Perks earned after each wave enhance your abilities, leading up to a final boss showdown. Side missions with modifiers offer additional challenges for extra currency, albeit with the downside of menu navigation for upgrades—a slight annoyance.
The game excels in enemy design, introducing diverse zombie types that spice up gameplay. However, encountering duplicate bosses within a short playtime dampened the novelty. Yet, leveling within rounds provided satisfying moments, especially when unleashing devastating attacks.
On the downside, the progression system feels clunky, requiring tedious menu navigation. Additionally, perk diversity felt lacking, limiting long-term engagement potential. Despite its initial fun, the game's free-to-play elements eventually overshadowed its appeal, contributing to its short shelf life once the novelty waned.
Shooting zombies and mastering powerful builds for boss battles offer brief enjoyment, but the lack of dynamic perks and weapons diminishes replay value. However, considering its free nature, it's worth a try to see if it captures your interest.

This game looks great and it's pretty heckin' fun too!
I've been looking for a game that can both look aesthetically pleasing and be fun at the same time, and I think that I've found a game that fits those characteristics. Zombie State is an Online FPS roguelike that let's you fend for your life against hordes of undead creatures, ranging from normal biters to special infected that can throw projectiles and even explode when they're killed. The game offers a vast amount of character upgrades, such as stuns, ignite and even additional bullets. The game offers amazing character models, stunning visuals and graphics, character voicelines, dashing mechanics, simple gunplay and character upgrade slots.

Game is good but controls require some tweaks and reduce the difficulty in finding resources or fighting zombies I still had machete and gun with limited bullets which I consider very hard to acquire even if u have to craft them u still need some stuff which is very hard to attain if the zombies are in hordes sneak attacks are limited unless u approach at a closer range which might get u exposed it's a 50/50 chance I died and lost it all game is purely pay to win traps tossing range is too low dodging attacks is limited through special moves the damage u take is very high might lose a character or 2 depending on the type of zombie or marauders with automatics will shoot u down in an instant

Another zombie game added to my collection
I can say that I am one of the ultimate zombie lovers out there. I have watched almost all zombie movies and played every zombie game available. It notified me about this one and I didn't let a second pass by to try it out! All zombie games have two things in common, either you get chased by a zombie or you're the one chasing them. So in this game, the zombies are just steady in a certain place and you need to move past them by killing them using a sword or a gun. You earn coins for every zombie you kill and from the chest available on your way. These coins can be used to upgrade your sword and gun to kill more zombies.
