MY OVERALL SCORE 8/10 The game is more than your typical 2d side scroller. It has a lot more depth to it than similar games. You have different weapons to collect and use. Different pets to collect as well as different ninjas you can acquire and power up. All the ninjas have a talent tree that allows you to build them out and power them up. ◆Game Features -SAVOUR VISUALS The game features an ink wash painting visual style. All Ninja realm’s landscapes are full of vitality. Immerse yourself in this ink world and enjoy a lingering refreshing sense of combat.

Ninja Must Die adds an RPG element to the traditional 2D side scrolling genre. I absolutely loved the game visually. As your character is running you can see lots of small animations and details in the backdrop. This adds flavor to the currently level you are in and makes it feel more atmospheric than most similar games. Collecting different weapons for my ninjas and building out their talents was by far my favorite. Mixing and matching different elemental weapons with different ninjas to help me rank high on the race mode leaderboard felt challenging and fun.
