Zenless Zone Zero is the newest game developed and released by the gaming studio MiHoYo, famously known for games such as (Genshin Impact, Honkai Star rail and Honkai Impact 3rd).

There are two main characters to choose from Balle (Female) and Wise (Male) as usual with these types of games, the difference is that this time they actually feel like two different characters each with their own personality and style!
As the main character your base of operations is this “Video/movie store” where you secretly work as a Proxy named “Phaethon” and assist certain individuals traverse the “Hallows” where they fight monsters, help people and achieve golas.
The story/shop has a very neat and nostalgic feel to it, it is a beautifully designed area and a nice base of operations.
The world of the game is set of different small areas that you can freely traverse, these areas have multiple NPCs to interact with as well as shops to buy from.
Note: Always remember to explore every area you get to even before talking to the NPCs.
You can use “fast travel” in the game to get to places faster if you don’t want to walk.

The game’s combat is smooth, fast and extremely responsive and fun to engage with.
The story chapters give you a feel of the combat and also has the option for you to fight in Normal mode or a more challenging mode (same rewards, harder enemies) this is just a choice.
Also players can choose Explore & Combat to complete different types of commissions and puzzles.
The HIA is where you might spend your most time farming & grinding when you want to upgrade and develop your characters.
This area is used for farming (Basic materials, Promotion materials, W-Engine upgrade materials and Skills upgrade materials).
Other materials to farm come from bosses, these help you rank up your characters skills to higher levels as well as currency to be used for getting more Drives that can be used to make your characters stronger.

Ben is a Defense type character i am using in my Fire team who has the most DEF & HP.
Lucy is a Support type character i am using in my Fire team, she can boost my team and also deal a good amount of damage!
Soldier 11 is an Attack type character that is just AMAZING AND FUN!… she is very strong and very fun, easy to play and learn as well, and she is obviously a fire type as well.
each character has a skills page to be unlocked, developed and upgraded, this is also tied with the character’s current level.
W-Engines & Disk Drives are basically the characters “gear and armor” this is where most of the characters power comes from, mostly all characters have a significant W-Engine core that works perfectly with their kit as well as a set of Disk Drives to enhance their power and abilities.
There are also the “Cinema” page, this is basically the duplicates you get for each character when you pull for characters in the gacha system, each duplicate grants your character more power and unlocks a new passive or power for them.

Gacha system & Battlepass.
The gacha system in Zenless Zone Zero is separated into the (Limited characters banner, Limited W-Engine banner, the standard banner and the last one is the Bangboo banner).
It’s not a gacha game without a Battlepass obviously, it seems easy enough to complete if you play the game consistently and finish the missions, and the rewards are not half bad.

Conclusion & Opinion.
Overall i believe this game is very fun and well made, the combat is engaging and enjoyable and the story is amusing and has some interesting aspects to it, not to mention the loose goofy animations of the characters and scenes which are actually very well made and nice to look at, i definitely recommend this game to any gacha enjoyer 🔥.

as someone who enjoys art and love details hoyo never dissapointed they do really target casual player again even tho this is a combat game, I'm surprised to see so much hate on this game when it literally just realesae and do nothing wrong, i wish people can learn how to appreciate art and effort cuz this game is really high quality it's just not for everyone

Author likedSome people hate just to hate on a certain company or a game they never tried just because it is “trendy” , others just don’t like gacha games or this type of games in general… this game is definitely high quality and enjoyable but we can’t get caught up in what others think i guess, knowing Hoyo they will succeed despite the hate because in reality the game is good lol.

I always chose “Write an article” when i make posts, also if you have issues with connect every few mins try to save what you write as a draft so it doesn’t get deleted and u start over by accident.
