bit of a brain dump here.
right so ive come back after a break from games to focus on myself… and i cant say im too impressed with how some of the aspects have changed. i dont recall everything that has been changed, but there are some things. that are irreconcilable to me, making some characters just downright unplayable because they arent as fun.
iris has been changed to the point where she might as well been removed from the game and replaced with a new character. i mean, the last time, i remember she had a rapid fire weapon, with like, 50 shots or something. now it’s a semi auto with 20. and her heals are so rapid now, but she’s less effective as a whole character that there’s virtually no point to her.
at least some people have stayed the same, such as shell, but oh wait. 2nd active is centered on her, making it so so so conditional. and i dont know what else has changed. it doesnt even feel like the same game.
and i cant for the life of me escape the gatlyn spam, with her two actives literally shredding through my health. i get dropoff is a thing, but she is so mobile that it makes no sense.
i have to completely relearn my characters because of these changes, does anyone else feel this way? or am i just being too picky with what i thought was something that was fixed when it wasnt broken. 🫤

and gloria is still a busted mess. what the hell is 2nd active. invisible? so no repercussions. just like when you stand at range and use 1st, insane dmg with 0 repercussions. this is absurd.

Author likedIf you think Gatlyn is OP, that’s a skill issue. Everything else, you mention I agree except for the entire relearning the character.

first of all you come off as a gatlyn player. secondly, i dont like the attitude when you said i said what i didnt. i said her two actives make for a devastating combo, plus the fact she moves as fast as all other characters when not using them. to elaborate, this poses a problem, as dropins and pokes that more or less guarantee her safety unless they suck or get concentrated fire is unbalanced. never said op.
