Modern Life, an interactive simulation game that is situated in China.
First of all, it has a gacha system for "constellations" and "talents" that uses its in-game currency which can be obtained through tasks, in-app purchases and daily check-in. Those two either give you an advantage or disadvantage based on its effects in the "life" you have.
Now for the illustration, it is 10/10. The art has this gentle look which makes it have those art style for manhuas in the romance genre; for reference, I'd say the style is similar to "The Stars of I" in some aspects.
Then we have the talk for its gameplay.
1) I will talk about the dream part first that happens at a specific age in your "life" and all I can say is, I don't know what it does.
2) Next the school life with those quizzes, exams, and activities, the typical torture for students. If you want to get to those top academies when your character enrolls for college, you have to make the subjects, Chinese, Science, Math, and English, to 100 and ace the college exams. I had a character that achieved such a feat and went to Mingzhu Theatre Academy so I can make him into an actor. The school part of the character's life can be educational for the player too as I learned some stuff while answering the quizzes.
3) So for the occupations available is somewhat limited per se, who knows? In Modern Life, you can work from a hair stylist to CEO of your own company. I also tried the racing career that can be accessed by playing in the kart racing since my character was a kid. You can also be a farmer by registering your home address at a village!
4) Aside from those, you can buy properties, cars, boats, and even have your own card collection in Modern Life. The things that can be interacted are the boats and the card collection while the cars and properties are display.
5) And what is a simulation game if you can't get married and have your own children? You can choose any character except blood relatives though the game only offers heterosexual marriages if someone's curious. Befriend, confess, propose, marry, and you're not maidenless anymore. I actually thought that there would be something like a one-child policy but the amount of children that your character can have depends on the size of your house.
6) While on the topic of relationships, you can adopt either a cat or a dog as a pet. There are different breeds available too ranging from the small ones to big ones. The amount of pets you can have also depends on the size of your house specially how many kennels it has. However, I cannot provide information about the fish tank because I haven't discovered how to put fishes in it.
7) Other than those, there are also different kinds of activities your character can do in Modern Life.
That will be all for now at the moment. Enjoy and have a good day!
