Games worth discovering
As free to play player here’s my review of SL
Gameplay:the gameplay itself is simple with its dodge mechanics but where the gameplay really shines in my opinion is the level of detail that goes into each weapon that adds a unique play-style into the gameplay especially since you use two in each mission.Enemies can feel like their repeated just with different biomes but for the most part it’s acceptable since it is a dungeon.Theres multiple different game modes with some completely discarding your main character in favor for your summoned heroes which I like since those game modes depend on team building.
Gacha:As I said in my last post I can’t talk about the gacha since it’s been favorable to me,funny enough I went on the game to take screenshots for this post and accidentally got the only character I didn’t have.Sofor the gacha I would say it’s highly depended on your personal luck.One thing I like tho is the ability to favor multiple characters and weapon on the standard banner.this makes for easy collection of characters or woman’s you may not have
Story:if you don’t know already SL is based on solo leveling don’t follows the story as it played out in the manhua .The real twist comes with the branching stories from each chapter that focus on side character we saw little of in the original story.These stories give you a sorta bond with the character leading you to want to use that character even if they’re SR.
Me personal Con: One thing that irks me is how hard it is sometimes because of it’s artificial difficulty,bosses aren’t really hard per se but it’s the conditions you’re under.The timer runs out before a battle ends even if you were close to winning which means if you’re strong enough to beat the boss it doesn’t matter because you have to strong enough to also beat the timer.This goes for a lot of modes,so I feel a pressure to rush and get damage instead of being calm and collecting my thoughts.This can be seen especially in the igris fight
My personal Pro:Everything can be grinder for even tho they shove the micro transactions in your throat.No matter how far you are in the game just simply grinding the I’ll bring you further so it’s really FTP friendly
Who would I recommend it to:I personally would recommend it to people who have a lot of time on their hands or just want something to hard focus on when free
