*Hero Siege: *Thanks to Pocket Edition, players get a solid dungeon-crawling experience that’s sure to appeal to fans of the action RPG sub-genre. This mobile version was designed and released by Panic Art Studios: it recreates the full experience of the action/RPG hack’n slash where players take the roles of heroes attacked by great numbers of monsters, get loot, and improve the main characters.
First of all, it is graphic design that visually is executed in the pixel art with an immersion in an absurd village, filled with a touch of darkness like a classic role-playing game. This does not mean that they are of low quality: the images themselves are simple and old-school, but perfectly match the speed of the game. Every one of the levels is procedural, meaning the players will experience a new level each time they go through the game which enhances the game’s replay value.
The main gaming concept is based upon the concept of roaming through different dungeons, fighting hordes of creatures and upgrading your character’s capabilities through gaining valuable items. The game has introduced a number of options in terms of classes to join, each of them has the special skill tree and gameplay style bringing the option for choice. No matter whether you want to be in close quarters with the enemy or attack from afar *Hero Siege* has the class for you.
A good opportunity to note as well is the game’s multiplayer option that allows players to go through more complex levels in cooperation with friends or other gamers. The second advantage seen in this cooperative play is that the overall fun is increased through cooperation because coordinating with other players is beneficial in that the team is more likely to perform increasingly efficiently because of the cooperation.
Still, the game can be said to present with a number of drawbacks. It has straightforward controls that work well neither them not are very intuitive on small screens being slightly annoying during the heat of the battle. Furthermore, the difficulty peaks become challenging at times which is complex since beginners can be unable to handle many opponents at once.
Despite these minor setbacks, *Hero Siege: Pocket Edition* would definitely recommend to anyone who wants an excellent, engaging and action-filled RPG on their mobile. For those who simply adore games of the dungeon, it’s a fine mixture of old school with a shade of new school with its multiplayer functionality that I am sure would amaze people. When sold at ₱240. 00, it gives a lot of content and enjoyments, and therefore is worthwhile the cost.
