This game known as Forest Survival Hunting 2 was developed by TryFoot Studios and it is an RPG game that has survival elements coupled with exploring the almost ominous forest. The game places players in a world where an evil force has engulfed the forest and the only way to find out what evil force is and overcome it is by fighting beasts and surviving the difficult environment of a forest.
Some of the most important factors you can identify in the game include: The atmosphere. I actually get a genuine sense of being in a horror setting in a forest, the trees and the path are very thick, there are sounds that give me the creeps. While not ground breaking the general layout of the game does a fairly good job of putting the player into the mood for a survival horror game. The lighting and visuals are not imposing but they are effective more so during the battle scenes.
As far as the game mechanics are concerned, this game has an easy autoshoot system when it comes to battle sequences. Although this feature is highly beneficial when the player has little time to play, it is also may negatively impact the game’s level of difficulty for players that desire to engage in a survival game. Players can also move in the map in a bid to get resources, look for food and fashion tools that are vital in the game thus making it even more strategic.
The enemy designs are different enough to not get monotonous when fighting, some of which are seen in the forest which the player will have to learn how to dodge and attack. The AI is not very sophisticated and some of them might even seem mundane after some time especially while fighting enemies.
On the one hand, there aren’t a lot of story elements in the game; however, the elements of exploration and survival are sufficient to entertain the player for a sufficient amount of time. All in all, Forest Survival Hunting 2 is a good, not very inspiring, survival RPG game. Such a gameplay will be enjoyed by those, who like exploration and the atmosphere of inquietude, but, probably, those who expected more nontriviality of combats and depth of the plot will be disappointed.
